David Donnenfield Biography
David Donnenfield began his career writing, shooting, and editing award-winning educational film programs for the California State Department of Education. Beginning in 1980, David worked on numerous programs for the syndicated TV magazine programs, PM Magazine and Evening Magazine. In 1991, he formed his own media production company, David Donnenfield Prodctions (DDP).
DDP has a distinguished client list, which includes companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Sun, Oracle and Verifone. In addition to video programs, David produced numerous satellite training programs covering topics ranging from technician certification to selling into the mainframe world at the highest executive levels. DDP has also provided services to numerous government agencies and non-profits, including US Geological Survey, US Army Corps of Engineers, SF Exploratorium, CA Academy of Sciences, CA Audubon, and the New York Museum of Modern Art. Many of these productions have won national awards such as the CINE Golden Eagle and have been seen on PBS stations across the country.
David Donnenfield holds a Bachelor's degree in film with honors from UCLA. He received his Master's degree from San Francisco State University in Educational Technology, where he was given the department's "Distinguished Graduate Student" award.
